About LoveYug

LoveYug is a couple games app for exactly two people. It launched on the App Store and Google Play in July 2026, it is free to play, and it is built and run by a very small independent team rather than a studio. This page exists so you know who is behind the questions you are reading.

Why it is built for two, not for a group

Almost every party game assumes a group. The mechanics that make them fun — hidden roles, majority votes, elimination — need four or more people, and they fall apart when two players try them. Couples end up either playing a group game badly or reading a list of questions to each other.

LoveYug is built around the constraint instead of despite it. The 6games are designed so that two players is the correct number: one person knows something the other is trying to read, or both are racing the same clock. That is also why the app supports Pass & Play on one shared phone as a first-class mode rather than an afterthought — a lot of couples are sitting on the same sofa.

How the questions are written

The site currently hosts 360+ questions across 10 categories, and they are written and edited by hand rather than generated in bulk. Each category is grouped into themed sections because a flat list of twenty questions is hard to use in an actual conversation — you want to start somewhere light and move deeper, not shuffle.

The rules we hold ourselves to: no question that only works as a trap, no question designed to produce a confession, and nothing in the spicier sets that has not been paired with an obvious way to skip it. If a question would be uncomfortable to be asked back, it does not ship. You can judge the results yourself on the questions hub.

What we are not

We are not therapists, counsellors, or relationship professionals, and nothing on this site is therapeutic advice. The writing here is about conversation and play — how to ask a better question, how to structure an evening, what a game format is actually good at. If you are working through something serious in your relationship, a qualified professional is the right place for that, and a games app is not.

How the site is written

The guides and journal posts are written to be useful rather than long. Where a page is about our own games we say so plainly, and where something works better outside the app — a walk, a phone left in another room, a real conversation — we say that too. Posts carry a published date and, where they have been revised, an updated date, so you can see how current something is.

Privacy, briefly

LoveYug is a two-person app, which means the content inside a game is between the two of you. The full detail is in the privacy policy, and account deletion is self-serve rather than something you have to email us about.
