What LoveYug is
LoveYug is a free couple games app for exactly two players. It has six games β Pin Bluff, Word Rush, Poison Food, Scramble Words, Would You Rather and Never Have I Ever β and two ways to play: Pass & Play on one shared phone, or Online Multiplayer across two phones from anywhere. It is free to download on iOS and Android. Online Multiplayer asks both partners to sign in with Apple or Google, which is how the two devices pair.
What it looks like
The home screen, a live round, and the summary you get at the end of a session.
The six games
Every game is written for exactly two players. None of them needs a third person, a board, or anything in the room besides a phone.
Pin Bluff
Can you crack your partnerβs secret PIN before they crack yours?
How Pin Bluff works βPoison Food
Hide the virtual trap. Hope your partner picks the safe plate.
How Poison Food works βScramble Words
Create scrambled words for each other and race to solve them.
How Scramble Words works βWould You Rather
Choose between funny, difficult and unexpected options.
How Would You Rather works βNever Have I Ever
Answer entertaining prompts and uncover unexpected stories.
How Never Have I Ever works βWord Rush
Lock your partnerβs letter and say a word before the clock runs out.

What you actually get
Six games, two play modes, and no setup beyond opening the app. Rounds run between about two and ten minutes, so a game fits into the gap before dinner arrives as easily as it fits into a whole evening. Nothing is on a timer that forces you to keep playing, and nothing needs a third person.
Play on one phone
Pass & Play is for when you are in the same room. One phone moves between you, each round hides your input from the other player, and the app handles turns and scoring so neither of you has to referee. It works on a sofa, in a car, or across a restaurant table while you wait.
Play from two phones, anywhere
Online Multiplayer connects two phones into the same live game. Both of you see the same round at the same moment, which is the part that sending each other question screenshots cannot do. It is the mode long-distance couples use most, and it works across time zones and countries.
What it costs
LoveYug is free on the App Store and Google Play, and all six games are included. The free version carries ads and has a per-game session limit. LoveYug Premium is an optional subscription that removes both, for you and your paired partner, and adds premium game packs and early access to new games.
What it does not do
It is not a relationship-coaching app and it does not give advice. There are no daily streaks to maintain, no social feed, and no leaderboard against strangers. It is two people, six games, and a scoreboard that only the two of you see.
Playing from two different places
Online Multiplayer connects two phones into one live round. Both partners sign in with Apple or Google once, which pairs the devices β after that there is no room code to type. One of you hosts and the room simply appears for the other.
Questions about the app
- Is LoveYug free?
- Yes, free to download on iOS and Android, with all six games included. The free version shows ads and limits how long a single session runs. LoveYug Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes the ads and the session limit for both partners, and adds premium game packs and early access to new games.
- Do we both need to install the app?
- Only for online play. If you are in the same room, one phone is enough β Pass & Play passes a single device back and forth. To play from two different places, both partners need the app on their own phone so the two devices can join the same live game.
- Can we play if we are in different countries?
- Yes. Online Multiplayer connects two phones over the internet regardless of where they are, so a couple in different countries or time zones plays exactly the same rounds as a couple on the same sofa.
- How many people can play?
- Two. LoveYug is built for a pair rather than a group β the rounds, the scoring and the reveals all assume exactly two players, which is why it works where a party game designed for six does not.
- Do we need an account?
- For Pass & Play on one shared phone, no. Online Multiplayer does need both partners signed in with Apple or Google β that sign-in is what pairs the two devices to each other. There is no room code to type: once you are paired, one of you hosts and the room simply appears for the other.
- What games are included?
- Pin Bluff, a code-cracking bluffing game; Word Rush, a speed word battle; Poison Food, a game of small risky choices; Scramble Words, a word puzzle race; and the two prompt games, Would You Rather and Never Have I Ever, both written for couples rather than for parties.
- Is it any good for a long-distance relationship?
- That is the case it was designed around. Online Multiplayer means both people are inside the same round at the same time, which is different from sending prompts back and forth and waiting. If you are apart most of the time, that mode is the reason to install it.
