What is Word Rush?
A fast word race for couples. Each round, one partner secretly picks the start letter and the other picks the end letter. When both are revealed, you race to find a word that starts and ends with them. First accepted word takes the round.

How to play Word Rush
1Pick a world and the rounds
Choose a world, best of 3, 5 or 7, and what the loser owes. A coin toss decides who sets the start letter first.
2Lock your letters
One of you picks the start letter, the other the end letter. Both stay hidden until the reveal.
33, 2, 1, think
Both letters appear at once, so you start thinking at the same second.
4Buzz in with a word
First to a word that fits takes the round, if your partner accepts it. Then the letter roles swap.
5Both stuck? Skip it
If neither of you can find a word, agree to skip. Nobody scores and a fresh pair takes its place.
How you win
Each round goes to the first accepted word. Win the most rounds in a best of 3, 5 or 7 and you win the match. Skipped rounds are replaced, so every round counted has a winner.

Tips to win at Word Rush
Give them a hard ending
Easy endings are E, S, T, Y and D. A J, Q, X or V at the end makes the round brutal, for both of you.
Short words count
A three-letter word wins a round just like a long one. Grab the first one that fits.
Work backwards
Run through common endings with the start letter: D + ELTA, D + ANCE, D + OG. The end letter is usually the hard part.
Plan your letter
You don't know their letter yet. Pick one you have words for, at either end.
Skip without guilt
Some pairs have no good answer. A skip costs nobody a point.

What kind of word game is Word Rush?

Who decides if a word counts?
Your partner. They accept or reject your word, so you agree on the rules you play by.
Can we play Word Rush in other languages?
Yes. Word Rush uses the letters of the language you play in, including alphabets like Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Thai.
