Quick answer
Choose Couple Joy if you want an all-in-one relationship app: daily questions, chat about your answers, a shared photo journal, a distance tracker and a daily streak. Choose LoveYug if you want real two-player games, played on one phone or live from two, plus status, mood and day widgets, with no streak to keep up and no location used. Both are free to start.
Couple Joy and LoveYug overlap more than most couples apps: both put your partner on your Home Screen, both share moods, both count your days together. The difference is what fills the evening. Couple Joy asks you questions and keeps a streak going. LoveYug hands you a poisoned plate, a code to crack or a race to a word, and keeps score between the two of you.

Which one should you pick?
Couple Joy is the better pick if…
you want one app for everything: a question every day, a chat about the answers, a photo journal, a distance counter and a streak that gets you both opening it.
LoveYug is the better pick if…
you want to actually play: Poison Food, PIN Bluff, Word Rush and four more games built for exactly two, plus a Now widget that says when they're free, without streaks or location.
See the seven gamesCan we use both?
Yes. Widgets from different apps sit side by side, and plenty of couples answer a question in one app and settle a rivalry in another.

What your partner sees in LoveYug
Only what you share
A widget shows the status, mood or plans you picked in LoveYug, and nothing it worked out on its own. It doesn't read your location, your messages or your other apps.
Only your partner
Your status and mood go to the one person you paired with. Unpair and their widget stops showing you.
Statuses end on their own
A status comes with an end time. When it's over the tile says it ended, so “Gym” doesn't sit on their screen all evening.
No mood advice
Vibe says what's on the tile and stops. It never tells your partner what your mood means or what to do about it.

Not a question of the day. LoveYug has question games instead, Would You Rather and Never Have I Ever, where you both answer in secret and reveal together, and the website has free question lists for couples.

No. There's no daily streak to keep up and nothing to repair if you miss a day. Play when you feel like it.
