Quick answer
Choose Widgetable if you want lots of widget types, virtual pets and a live distance widget for friends and partners. Choose LoveYug if you want widgets made for one partner, Now, Vibe and Day Story, plus seven two-player games to play on one phone or live from two. LoveYug's widgets don't use your location, and both apps are free to start.
Both apps put someone you love on your Home Screen, so the question is what else you want. Widgetable spreads wide: sleep, mood, distance, plants, shared pets, photo and doodle drops, for a circle of friends as much as a partner. LoveYug goes narrow and deep on two people: what they're doing and until when, how they feel, how both your days look, and games that turn a spare five minutes into a little rivalry.

Which one should you pick?
Widgetable is the better pick if…
you want a pet to raise together, a widget that shows the distance between you, or a big collection of widget styles to share with a group of friends as well as your partner.
LoveYug is the better pick if…
you want to actually play together: Poison Food, PIN Bluff, Word Rush and four more games built for exactly two, plus a status widget that tells you when they're free and a Day Story that shows their local time.
See the seven gamesCan we use both?
Yes. Widgets from different apps sit side by side on a Home Screen, and many couples keep one app for games and another for photos or pets.

What's your mood and vibe?
What your partner sees in LoveYug
Only what you share
A widget shows the status, mood or plans you picked in LoveYug, and nothing it worked out on its own. It doesn't read your location, your messages or your other apps.
Only your partner
Your status and mood go to the one person you paired with. Unpair and their widget stops showing you.
Statuses end on their own
A status comes with an end time. When it's over the tile says it ended, so “Gym” doesn't sit on their screen all evening.
No mood advice
Vibe says what's on the tile and stops. It never tells your partner what your mood means or what to do about it.
